Rules:
- You should be willing to dedicate yourself and contribute effort for the entirety of your stay in Bermuda. If you cannot dedicate yourself for this amount of time, please let us know and we will part ways. The game will begin tomorrow and should end sometime in March or early April. These dates are subject to change if seen fit.
- You must be willing to write confessionals, post chats and thoughts on a regular basis. This is simple. Private confessionals will be made for every castaway. When logged in each person can post conversations with other players, as well as post personal thoughts about things going on in the game...first impressions, alliances, strategy..etc.. It's that simple! This information submitted will be used after the game has completed production. Everyones confessional will be unlocked for all eyes to read, it's pretty fun. You must post at least 2 confessional updates each episode.
- Participating in challenges is key in this game. Most challenges will be 24 hour challenges. We will post them and each team or person will have 24 hours to complete it. When there are less players in the game some challenges might be held live, but that will be discussed further down the line. If you are cast in the game and cannot be around to compete in a challenge please let the hosts know, if not I'm sure your tribe will notice. Point is, if you aren't going to be active or simply don't have the time - save the both of us some trouble and bow out. We want this game to be more fierce then ever!!
- Some challenges require the use of image codes. You will have to upload your image to an image hosting website (ie: tinypic.com, imageshack.us) then post it. If you do not know how to do this ask one of the hosts, an alumni member, or a fellow tribe mate.
- Some challenges require Screen Shots, so I ask everyone to make sure their print screen buttons are working. It is located on the top right of the keyboard next to, Pause/Break + Scroll Lock buttons. When you press this button is captures the current image shown on your monitor. If you open a paint/photo document and press paste...the screen shot should be pasted. You would then save the document, and upload it. Any questions on how the print screen button works please ask one of the hosts, an alumni member, or a fellow tribe mate.
- You should always use appropriate behavior with cast members and production crew alike. SERIOUS threats towards other players and the staff will not be permitted in any way, shape, or form. If this occurs you will meet with an iSurv1vor staff member for an interview and further action will be taken. Inappropriate behavior does not include lying, backstabbing, or any actions in the spirit of the game.
- Any iSurv1vor Productions staff member has the right to change the rules at any point (if we see fit) without debate from cast members. You must respect the staff at all times; we are giving up our time so we can host and ya'll can play the game. Of course we're not going to change the rules randomly just to be unfair and weird. Only if like, during a challenge the original rules aren't quite working out, the hosts have the right to change the rules for any reason.
- iSurv1vor Productions have had past problems with contestants "cheating" during challenges. Any castaways seen by the hosts to have cheated in any way, shape, or form will be expelled from the game without warning. I personally cannot take cheaters. Fair-gameplay only! One past player has been expelled and three bitches have quit on me. Let's make this a great season where neither happens and some magic does!
- There is an icky side to hosting, where we as hosts have to make executive decisions during challenges, regarding certain castaways..etc.. If you have a problem with "listening" and "respecting" an authority figure, please let us know. The hosts aren't on power or ego trips, but there have been confrontations in the past where castaways don't understand the Hosts have the last word. We are fair, so please listen and do not disrespect. All will be gravy then ;D.
- Self voting is something to watch out for in this game as well. A self vote is a vote that will be cast by yourself to yourself if the following is not done:
a) You dont vote.
b) You dont answer your Tribal Council questions.
c) You dont update your journal at least twice each episode.
Self votes are dangerous in this game. Once you have received your second self vote you will be removed from the game and give the remaining players a better shot at winning!
- Lastly and most importantly, have fun! Remember the staff is watching. Play the best game possible.
